Pavan:
I don't think I have understood your point yet. Are you referring to any particular incident/ person or what? Very sorry not to be able to be on the same page.

I understand your need to add disclaimers!

I was not bashing at any education. Education in itself is a great word. No derogatory statements can take away its greatness. I merely meant that a lot of people, and it's actually more of the MBA aspirants than the ones who actually complete and have that degree, start giving the line of argument that I hate so much. But I have heard and heard that line come in as an excuse every time somebody is incompetent enough to make a proper effort that my.... well, never mind. That's the explanation for that.

And as a sidenote, disclaimers for any statements are just a bane of the US life. It is not a case of no guts to say waht you want, it's just the fear of being sued for 'hurtful remarks' and 'mental trauma' and 'severe agony' and God knows what else. anyway, I am guessing that would be the end of the discussion on this topic since you guys have already moved on. But I am open to more if somebody wants to fire :-)

Preethi:
Read Pavan's comment filtering out the MBA bashing stuff!! you will know how well these gurus speak. They are good. You need to put your mind to filtering out the trash and retaining the good one! Istondu buddhi nange nanna Engg nalli iddiddre?!!

Pavan:
Thanks for agreeing. But not without your customary disclaimer. And this time you have strangely started bashing up management education. I seriously don't understand yar. Can you please explain in slightly more detail?

I have attended a few of such preachings too and the main thing to note is that one really has to filter out the religious bashings that most of these preachers make. Rest of it is generally good to hear.

Ends have to be as righteous as the means is something I hope everybody understands one day or the other. With no offense to the MBAs at all, the "ends justify means" is something I have seen more and more people start believing in due to some of the management type teaching. But it is very true the means have to be righteous period.
