I guess this is ample proof that Darrell Hair is crazy! Offering to quit for USD 500,000. Wonder what the Aus PM John Howard, Steve Waugh and Shane Warne will have to say now. They are nowhere to be heard now!
Woolmer is not entirely straight
Woolmer is supposed to have taught his players how to tamper with the ball. Though Woolmer denies it, as he should. The South African team is accused of having tampered with the ball during the 1997 India’s tour of SA. The then match refree Jarman has brought up this issue now saying he changed the ball and didn’t make a big issue out of it. And there is a striking similarity with whatever has happened with Pakistan out here. Also, Pakistan doesn’t exactly boast of a ethical cricketing history!
What’s up with Malcolm Speed?
If I write an email to you, will you go to the press about it? I mean, what’s Mr. Speed upto? He is turning Hair’s moment of weakness into Hair’s personality trait. Now the problem is that Hair isn’t known to have great personality traits. So, we have flaws all around. Mr. Speed has been unethical in exposing personal e-mails to the world.
This is getting messier by the day!

Wierd font alla.. dodda font. Some people gave me feedback that the font in my blog was too small to read. So, I will be posting in a font size that’s one size bigger from now on! :) Don’t like it?! :(
Cricket, like everything else, with more money coming in it is turning out to be a marketplace than a sports ground!
Even I dont understand why cricket officials love to disclose e-mails. Same thing happened in India while the Bengal Cricket association elections were going on. Similar thing with Greg Chappell & Ganguly too.
But in the context of the current events, I think Speed is just finding a scape goat for the fracas in Hair. Cricket was brought into disrepute, some action has to be taken, so Hair goes… Hair wishes to make the most of it and quotes his price… Wow! is this cricket or the underworld?

Agree with you in e-mail disclosures! They want to create controversy and make mountain out of a molehill! Maybe there’s some money involved somewhere. Will have to look with a closer eye.
Underworld I tell you is much cleaner. Atleast you know what is happening upfront!
This issue is becoming more ugly day by day . This time around , I want to be on Hair’s side as his e-mail clearly says ‘As per our discussions this evening…’ , and ICC did a big mistake by leaking the e-mail ,without mentioning the actual discussion between Hair and ICC.

I totally am with you on this. Like sudhu says above it is becoming like underworld operations! They ll reveal only whatever they want to and leave the other part as it is! Clumsy buggers!
Ever wonder why its always the Pakistanis who get into this ball tampering mess? (starting with Safraz Nawaz/Imran Khan, continuing with Wasim Akram/Waqar Younis to the present day guys).
There can be only 2 reasons:
1. They cheat
2. Everyone does it but only the Pakistanis get got (stupidity).
Anyway the ICC is as inefficient as the BCCI…
