National awards | Naresh Iyer wins

The results are out. And as I had predicted Naresh Iyer wins the award for the Best Playback Singer (Male). Yay! Am so happy! He also responded to my congratulatory sms with a “Hey! Thanks a lot!”

I feel like celebrating this moment by posting the lyrics of the song which won Naresh the Award:

    There is some controversy about that actually. Zubin who sang “ya ali” from Gangster is supposed to be the rightful winner according to some. But I don’t know. I loved Naresh Iyer’s voice the first time I heard him!

    really??? what rubbish…I dont agree with that! I think whoever’s saying that is just biased cos he’s a south indian or something…

    I am also a big fan of Naresh Iyer!! I loved the lyric of the song which got him the national award. What a song it is!!! Very inspiring… Did u listen to his song, ‘Are are saaguite..’ from Hudugaata? It is really a melodious track.
